Botox® is an FDA-approved neuromodulator treatment that works beneath the surface to temporarily decrease muscle activity that leads to frown lines, crow's feet, vertical lines, fine lines and wrinkles, softening their appearance. With over 30 years of active application and millions of treatments performed worldwide, Botox® is one of the most rigorously tested, safe and impactful procedures in non-invasive aesthetic medicine. Treatment takes just minutes to perform.

In addition to Botox®, we offer the FDA-approved neuromodulators Dysport®, Jeuveau®, and Xeomin®. During your complimentary consultation, our injectables experts will help determine which neuromodulator treatment is optimal for your concerns.

Depending on the neuromodulator you decide on and the areas selected for treatment, the cost ranges from about $8.99 to $10.49 per unit. New client pricing is $7.99 a unit.

Neuromodulators are well-known for their ability to reduce facial wrinkles. The following is a list of all the areas we can treat with Botox®, Dysport®, Jeuveau®, and Xeomin®:

Most individuals in good health are potential candidates for neuromodulators. Patients of a variety of ages may choose to treat with Botox®, Dysport®, Jeuveau®, or Xeomin® often as a preventative measure against wrinkle formation in their 20s or 30s, or to reduce the appearance of current fine lines in the 40s and beyond. The only way to determine if neuromodulators are the ideal procedures for your concerns is to visit our office for a complimentary consultation, where you will meet with our nurses to discuss your goals.

Reduction in the harshness of lines begins taking effect after treatment, but patients can expect to see optimal results after 2 weeks.

The cosmetic improvements from neuromodulators last about 3-4 months for most patients. 

Most individuals tolerate treatment well; however, rare side effects may include:

• Dry eyes
• Upset stomach
• Numbness
• Mild pain, swelling, bruising or redness around the injection area
• Headache
• Temporary eyelid droop 
• Failure to achieve a fully satisfactory result

Those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not be treated with neuromodulators.

As Botox® is a non-invasive procedure performed in just minutes, no downtime is typically necessary – most patients may return to daily activities immediately following treatment. We recommend not laying down for 3-4 hours following treatment, as well as avoiding heavy exercise or pressing on/prodding at the treatment area in the first 24 hours after injection.

This is something we do frequently that can make such a difference in our clients’ appearance! This quick procedure will relax the muscles in the upper lip to limit gum exposure when smiling, resulting in a look that makes our clients feel more comfortable with their smile.

Yes! The Lip Flip procedure is a particularly popular Botox application at our facility! This nonsurgical procedure provides a fuller appearance to the lips without adding additional volume by targeting the corners of the mouth and edges of the lips. This causes the lip to naturally lift and appear slightly fuller than normal.

Restylane® and Juvederm® are FDA-approved families of dermal fillers comprised of hyaluronic acid, a natural compound found in skin that aids in maintaining its plumpness and elasticity. Over time, this compound breaks down, leading to decreased facial volume and a looser appearance to the skin.

Dermal fillers enhance the cheeks, chin, lips and other areas of the face for an uplifted, fuller and more youthful appearance. At LaVida Med Spa, we select from Juvederm® Volbella, Vollure, Voluma, Ultra, and Volux fillers as well as Radiesse® filler, Restylane® L, Contour, Refyne, Defyne, Lyft, and Kysse fillers to best achieve client goals and complement each unique skin type.

The average cost of filler is about $359-999 per syringe. As a top provider of injectables in Arizona, LaVida Med Spa is able to offer Juvederm® at an affordable rate for our clients, with options for financing.

Patients will see immediate improvement after treatment! However, the dermal fillers will continue to soften and settle over the next couple days to 2 weeks where you will see your final optimal results

Depending on the filler formula you select with your injector, results from Juvederm® can last in the range of 6 to 18 months. Regular maintenance with dermal filler will help maintain long-term results.

As Restylane® and Juvederm® are comprised of non-toxic, biocompatible hyaluronic acid naturally produced by the body, any side effects experienced by patients are typically mild and transient. These potential side effects may include:

• Redness, discoloration or bruising at the injection site
• Swelling and/or bumps
• Tenderness
• Firmness
• Itching

Those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not be treated with Juvederm® or Restylane® fillers.

Dermal filler is a non-invasive procedure performed in about an hour or less. There is not much downtime immediately following treatment but swelling and bruising can occur. Clients should plan accordingly if they have special events such as weddings, vacations, parties, ect. Typically we recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance of a special event. Otherwise, makeup can be applied the next day!

Absolutely! Botox and dermal fillers work nicely together to further enhance results. Depending on what your goals are, we will provide recommendations and guide you with a customized treatment plan at your complimentary consultation.

When you come in for an injectables treatment, our nurses will discuss your desired results and come up with a proposed treatment plan after fully assessing you. Depending on the treatment you chose, they will numb you prior and make you as comfortable as possible.
